Foreshore and beach: what they mean for a property
The foreshore (aigialos) is the zone reached by the sea at its highest usual wave run; the beach (paralia) is the adjacent zone serving access to it. Both are, as a rule, common, public-domain land.
What to check
See whether a delineated foreshore line exists in the area and where it runs relative to the property. The line is set by an administrative act; check whether the parcel intersects or abuts it.
Where to see it
On kaek.app, where data exists, an indication of proximity to the foreshore is shown. See also the special categories.
